This is a bug in libpolkit. polkit_unix_session_new_for_process_sync should report itself as not being able to connect to DBus through the GError pointer. However, these reports are no longer valid as polkit stopped using eggdbus in version 0.97. If you are still able to reproduce this bug though with newer versions of polkit, feel free to reopen it and we'll work on solution of this situation. Thank you.
