The French translation for "Trying to reconnect to %2 (port <numid>%3</numid>) in %1 seconds." is "Essai de reconnexion à %2 (port <numid>%3</numid>) en %1 secondes." This translates to "Reconnection attempt to ... in %1 seconds." In this case, the translation of "in" should be "dans": "Essai de reconnexion à %2 (port <numid>%3</numid>) dans %1 secondes." There are several nearly identical strings. I'm under the impression this is a regression (I use Konversation since years and didn't notice before).
Albert, could you reassign/forward this to the French translators somehow? I'm not sure what the BKO product is.
Thanks Pino!
SVN commit 1170267 by annma: Back from vacation, fixed string. Filipus if you noticed other problems as you said "There are several nearly identical strings" please can you reopen and note them exactly? Thanks in advance. The previous commit message did not close the bug, maybe something changed while I was away... Closing now.
Anne-Marie's commit was reverted by http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/l10n-kde4/fr/messages/extragear-network/konversation.po?r1=1170267&r2=1170416 This is presumably unintentional, as the commit came just a few hours later.
There is also another similar string: "Trying to connect to %2 (port <numid>%3</numid>) in 1 second." translated to "Essai de connexion à %2 (port <numid>%3</numid>) en 1 seconde." Should this "en" also be translated to "dans"?
SVN commit 1277648 by annma: fix again this string and the next one, after getting confirmation this is indeed the meaning (on IRC in #konversation) M +6 -5 konversation.po WebSVN link: http://websvn.kde.org/?view=rev&revision=1277648
