Created attachment 50592 [details] Example of a search result preview in KDE 3.5 Version: 2.0 (using KDE 4.5.0) OS: Linux I am still using KDE 3.5 and very often use kfind like this: 1) use konqueror and select "View -> View Mode -> Icon View" 2) select "Tools > Find File..." This provides a nice icon preview of all search results and makes searching for pictures and icons very easy. I just tested KDE 4.5 and kfind seems to no longer support icon view but instead defaults to a plain textbased list view without preview. I did not find any way to change the view so that a preview of the search results is shown. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1) open kfind 2) search for a certain name in /usr/share/icons 3) try to preview the search results 4) notice that kfind only shows a list view without preview Actual Results: There is no longer a preview of the search results. Expected Results: I expected to be able to get a preview of the search results as I am getting it now with KDE 3.5.
