Screenshot of thumbnails from the "show windows" effect

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

Using KDE 4.5.0 on Kubuntu Lucid.
Video chipset: VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)

Since upgrading to KDE 4.5.0 from 4.4.5, any time thumbnails are used (show windows, taskbar tooltips, etc) they appear excessively bright, distorting the colors and making them ugly and hard to identify. Most windows just appear as a white block with a few scattered black pixels.

I only see this on my system with the Intel chipset; ATI and Nvidia systems seem fine.

Reproducible: Always

please add your "glxinfo | grep -i opengl" to the duplicate bug report, so that we can ship an update to the blacklist in 4.5.1

In my blogpost http://blog.martin-graesslin.com/blog/2010/07/blacklisting-drivers-for-some-kwin-effects/ you can find some information on how to fix this problem by manually adding your driver to the blacklist.
