Description jpaisley 2010-08-15 07:43:43 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.5.0)
OS: Linux

Sound in web browser will skip or stutter after some time playing streaming audio. It seems to happen only on Flash sites such as Pandora.com after about two hours or so. Using Firefox and the latest version of Flash.OS is Linux Mint 9 KDE.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Listen to streaming audio via a flash player within firefox it typically takes sometime before the error occurs. It happens a majority of the time. You will find the audio skipping like a scratched up cd.

Actual Results:
Error occurs after about 2 hours with regular frequency but not every time.

Expected Results:
Played audio should stream without "skipping" sound.

Flash and firefox are not KDE applications/products.
Please ask your issue in a user support channel (forums and/or mailing lists of your distribution).
