I cannot reproduce this problem in the lastest snapshot of Plasma NM. Can you test a newer version? Besides, the monolithich knetworkmanager is unmaintained, please use the plasmoid version.

I experience this constantly, it is not an issue when resuming from suspend only from hibernation openSUSE 12.2 & KDE 4.10beta_
