Burning ends before starting with this error "cdrecord returned an unknown error(code 254) if you are running an unpatched cdrecord ... ...and this error also occurs with hight quality media... and k3b FAQ doesn not help you ...please include the debuggging output in your problem report" I tried to solve this problem without succes on opensuse forums.
