The message list seem to list any new incoming message when selction has not moved,(I am not sure on this), but it will not list a message sent.I have set sent messages to be stored in Inbox and when I send a message, I expect that message show up in the inbox.But it will not show up until I move to another folder and return to the same folder.

Also, if a message is marked read and the folder is filtered for 'unread' messages, the message does not move from message list. I have a few search folders which are supposed to act only on unread messages.There too, the behaviour is exactly same.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
