I played with SVN trunk yesterday, and one of the first visual annoyances was, that the System monitor network plasmoid no longer fits into my vertical panel.
Please have a look at the before (4.4.5) and after screenshots in this forum

The icon is unnecessary, since the textual description will tell the user what
the bar/graph is about.

Put the System Monitor Network plasmoid into a (vertical) panel

Looks ugly and broken

Looks good
