when you are browsing menu and knotify appear the menu is closed

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open menu
2. wait a notify

I can add that notify make also klipper tray menu disappear, but at this point I suppose that make EVERY menu disappear.

I also make google-chrome address bar suggest close.

i cannot reproduce the bug in my box but i couldn't.

my box's specifications are,

Qt: 4.7.1
KDE Development Platform: 4.5.4 (KDE 4.5.4)
os:gentoo ~amd64

But it still occurs when you right-click on any plasma object. For example, right-click on the desktop and wait for a notification to appear.

The initial issue reported in this bug cannot be reproduced anymore. What is described in comment #7 is a completely different issue and should not be mixed with this report. In fact comment #7 is not a bug but expected and correct behavior. Whenever another window gets activated the Kickoff menu closes. In this case the Plasma desktop gets activated triggered by a user action. Given that the user initiated the action it has to be assumed that the user no longer wants Kickoff to be open. Any other behavior would be a bug.

Because of that I set to fixed as of comment #6.
