Description lnxusr 2010-08-02 18:54:37 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.92)
OS: Linux

When Kontact starts before the wifi connection has established, Kmail will not fetch mail either manually or automatically. The only way to get mail is to quit and relaunch Kontact.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start Kontact without wifi enabled.

Actual Results:
Kmail initially appears to check mail but nothing comes in. Subsequent clicks on the 'Check Mail' button has no effect.

Expected Results:
Kmail connects and downloads mail.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.35-12-generic
Compiler: cc

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
