Description Philippe Cloutier 2010-07-31 03:26:15 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

libjingle support fails to be enabled on my account, even though it is a Google Talk account (chealer@gmail.com).

The error dialog doesn't help. It complains about an "Invalid Google Talk", but doesn't explain how the Google Talk is invalid.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
In the Google Talk tab of Edit Account on an XMPP account, check "Enable Google Talk libjingle support (only for GTalk/Gmail accounts)" and apply.

Actual Results:
An error dialog pops up,
Title: Invalid Google Talk
Content: Google Talk libjingle support is only for GTalk/Gmail account, which connect to server talk.google.com.

Expected Results:
libjingle support is enabled.

You have to connect to the correct server.
