Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.5) OS: Linux Hi, i've got some script , which has execute-able permissions , i'd like to open an editor like kate , when clicking on it , rather than try to make it run , it's very dangerous , right ? Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: Hi, For me , i prefer single click when opening files , and at least `nautilus' have an option like `always open editor even file has execute permission' , it's more secure.
and if you right click on the file, open with and tell to remember the association ? isn't what you need ?
For sure it works fine , well , it's just part of my behavior , i'm kinda lazy right clicking on a file , just single click , and if we try to execute *any* scripts , it will be a big security hole. Should be an optional choice here. Thanks.
