Description Mathias Homann 2010-07-29 09:35:56 UTC
Version: 4.4.5 (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

When I edit an existing appointment that has been set in a different time zone, the timezone for the appointment gets changed to my local TZ without changing the time, effectively moving the appointment!

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create an appointment with start and end time, use a different time zone than yours
2. edit the appointment with making an actual change (text or such)
3. save it

Actual Results:
the time zone changes to your local time zone, but the time stays the same, effectively moving the appointment (for example from 7AM PST to 7AM CEST... 9 hours.)

Expected Results:
the time zone in the appointment should stay the same

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34-12-pae
Compiler: gcc
I consider this a major bug since it effectively breaks appointments with different timezones.
