Description Ralf Engels 2010-07-28 01:56:18 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.92)
OS: Linux

Changing album names, changing it to a compellation, and similar operations that move entries in the collection browser tend to leave it in a confused state.
You can't select entries or they don't appear after all.

Restarting Amarok helps.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Select album in local music collection browser.
Right click, edit meta
Change album name, press ok

Actual Results:
Collection browser get's confused a lot.
The renamed album is displayed empty sometimes.
You can't rename it any more as the right click on the album does not show a context menu.
The renamed album is displayed with the old name sometimes.
Even leaving the collection browser and comming back does not solve the problem. Only restarting helps.

Expected Results:
Album name is changed and collection browser shows it at the correctly sorted position.
All tracks previously contained in the album should remain.

Using git version from 26.Jul.2010

This is due to a caching problem with the Collection Browser, a well known bug, apparently not that easy to solve.
