Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.90) OS: Linux There is no notification (or feedback) after finish import data in translation memory manager. Right now I just close the dialog blindly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Just try to import TMX file or PO files. Actual Results: There is no feedback what accomplished. Expected Results: The show be a progress bar for importing files. Or at least a small message tell the user what was happened.
In fact, it would be desirable to show some kind of progress notification not only when importing TMX but rather when: a) Adding information into the TM from the project tab or when dropping files into TM tab, b) Importing a TMX file into the TM database c) Exporting a TMX from a database d) Doing an autofill with results from the TM. and maybe other situations
I always monitor ~/.local/share/lokalize/*.db size to know importing tmx file is finished. If it stops to grow, then importing is finished. It would be nice to have a progress-bar for it. Any update on it?
I’m not sure since when, but currently, at least when adding data from PO files, there is a system-wide progress notification which allows to monitor and even stop the process. Shall we close this?
Yes, we can close this.
