Description Eugeny Shkrigunov 2010-07-27 07:51:16 UTC
Version: unspecified
OS: Linux

Hi.
Sorry for my English.
In previous versions KMail after selecting next / previous message (arrow keys) and subsequently pressing <End> / <Home> led to move to the end / beginning in the message. Recently pressing <End> / <Home> move in the messages list, while <PageDown> / <PageUp> in the message as before.
Please fix the behavior <End> / <Home> keys as before.
Thanks.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select next / previous message (arrow keys)
2. Press <End> / <Home>

Actual Results:
Move to end / beginning in the messages list.

Expected Results:
Move to the end / beginning in the message.

Works fine for me in KMail2 KDE SC 4.9.0.
Whether Home/End jumps to the beginning/end of the message list or the message itself depends on which part has the focus.
Moving using arrow keys and then hitting Home/End jumpss inside the message.

"depends on which part has the focus" - exactly this is the problem:
In previous versions KMail after selecting next / previous message (arrow keys) and subsequently pressing <End> / <Home> led to move to the end / beginning in the message - i.e. focus was in the right place (the message)
