Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4) OS: MS Windows klipper's clipboard is always empty - it does non collect text copied via CTRL+C or menu command. Windows 7 32bit KDE 4.4.4 Reproducible: Always
Part of this problem has just started occurring in Klipper. As soon as I paste an item, it disappears from Klipper. OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.32.11-pclos2.bfs
Sorry. Version=v0.9.7
When I attempt to open the history.lst file, I get the following error message: "The file /home/terry/.kde4/share/apps/klipper/history2.lst was opened with UTF-8 encoding but contained invalid characters. It is set to read-only mode, as saving might destroy its content. Either reopen the file with the correct encoding chosen or enable the read-write mode again in the menu to be able to edit it."
This problem occurs when I use Keepass to cover a password. The password is on the clipboard until I paste it. Once I paste it, the password and all previous entries disappear from Klipper.
This bug is fixed for Windows in KDE SC 4.7.0
Klipper on Windows still shows always "Clipboard empty" in its menu and is not usable. It doesn't matter if I copy-paste from a KDE application (i.e. Kate) or a "native" Windows Application (i.e. Visual Studio). OS: Windows 7 64 bit KDE Version: 4.10.2 (installed using kde-windows-installer 1.0.0) Packages: MSVC 2010 32 bit Please reopen this bug.
