Description 2010-07-20 01:38:10 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

To the filter "CLassify as Spam" i have added other entry "Rewrite Header" in wich i select "Subject" and add the text [SPAM] in the 'with:' field.

So what i was expecting was that kmail would add the text [SPAM] to the beggining of the subject of the messages marked as spam, but it DOESNT DO IT.

Instead adds the text [SPAM] to all the characters that exist in the subject, here is an example:

the original subject was:
Newsletter July 2010

was repalced with:
[SPAM]N[SPAM]e[SPAM]w[SPAM]s[SPAM]l[SPAM]e[SPAM]t[SPAM]t[SPAM]e[SPAM]r[SPAM] [SPAM]J[SPAM]u[SPAM]l[SPAM]y[SPAM] [SPAM]2[SPAM]0[SPAM]1[SPAM]0[SPAM]

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Just add the entry "Rewrite Header" to the filter "Classify as Spam", choose Subject and add [SPAM] in the "with:" field.

Expected Results:
Is should just add the text [SPAM] to the beggining of the subject of the messages that were marked as spam and not add that text to all characters (including spaces) of the subject.

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.33.5-desktop-2mnb
Compiler: gcc

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
