Description Frederic Gedin 2010-07-18 21:55:34 UTC
Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 4.3.5)
OS: Linux

The import window allows to customize the name of the imported files.
Unfortunately, this does not work on my version of Digikam : myname_[date:yyyyMMdd]_[file] renames imported files in myname_20100718_.CR2 for all selected files and and automatic numeration is applied during the actual import.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Open the import window
configure customized name with myname_[date:yyyyMMdd]_[file]
Check the names proposed for selected files : the initial file name is not applied.
Import the images from the camera : the initial file name is still not applied.

Actual Results:
Files renamed as myname_20100718_.CR2, myname_20100718_.1CR2, myname_20100718_.2CR2, etc.

Expected Results:
myname_20100718_IMG_5380.CR2, myname_20100718_IMG_5381.CR2, etc

From which source are you importing?
Camera (directly connected), CardReader or from the file system?

Seems to work fine with Digikam.
Closing the defect.
