Version:           1.0 (using KDE 4.4.4) 
OS:                Linux

$ kdesu -v
Qt: 4.6.3
KDE: 4.4.4 (KDE 4.4.4) "release 2"
KDE-su: 1.0

openSUSE 11.3 final

See the attached screenshot. The command executed is actually 
yast2 '-i' 'kdebase4-workspace-debuginfo'

This command line is only partially displayed. When executing commands as root I need to be absolutely sure which command will be run.

this seems to work for me with current trunk. only two minor problems:
- one can shrink the dialog vertically to a point where widgets start overlapping. this may depend on the widget style. maybe your problem is related to that as well - try changing it.
- words are not wrapped, so a single very long word would be truncated. that's not critical, as the dialog can be enlarged.

This issue is resolved now (and probably has been resolved for a while) in kdesu 5.25.4.
