Version: 1.0.0 (using KDE 4.4.4) OS: Linux When i start kopete, if akonadi is already running, kopete will only show a grey window and do nothing else. To make it work i have to run the akonadi conf dialog, then click on stop akonadi, then run kopete and at this point the akonadi daemon will be automatically executed again. " ) = 353 [pid 4359] exit_group(255) = ? The "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes blah blah blah" bit is, incidentally, the same error message that I get trying to get akonadi running with Google Calendar, so I think it may be related or even the same bug than https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=264861 (which I'm also experiencing).
