I update with YOU all packages, and some migrated form KDE 4.3.5 to KDE 4.4. On next reboot, the Plasma desktop is blank: ther is juste the mouse cursor on a black background. Applications launched from another terminal session (CTRL-ALT-Fx) do appear normally.
I use additional repositories to have latest stable KDE repositories (KDE4 Core, KDE4 Community, KDE4 Playground, KDE Backports).

The crash can be reproduced every time.
