Description Mickaël 2010-07-08 22:29:55 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

KMail says, even if it is not true, "Transmission terminated for account ***. No new message" when retrieving mails from POP/IMAP accounts.

Moreover, KMail shows an error with my GMail account : "Unable to retrieve informations from [GMail] folder. Server said : Invalid folder: [Gmail] (Failure)" (translated from French : "Erreur lors de la réception des informations du dossier. Impossible d'obtenir des informations sur le dossier [Gmail]. Le serveur a répondu : Invalid folder: [Gmail] (Failure)"), GMail being a virtual folder with specials folders (sent, draft, all messages, spam...).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Try to add a fake account, with a bad server (pop.sfrgsdfgdsgdfg.com) and login/pass.

Actual Results:
KMail will only says there are no new messages !

Expected Results:
Error message, "the server *** is not valid !" ("didn't respond" ?)

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.34-ARCH
Compiler: gcc
KDE 4.4.5
