Description Toralf Förster 2010-07-05 13:41:44 UTC
Version: 1.13.5 (using Devel)
OS: Linux

I start KMail automatically during KDE login.
I deleted some kwallet entries for IMAP accounts, KMail asked me next time to type these in. Although I checked the box "Store password" this wasn't done if I then finished the KDE session after that w/o quitting KMail.

If however I quited KMail, quited the KDE session and logged in again, KMail now recognized the passwords.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
I'd expect that KMail sned the account info immediately to kwaltd.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.34
Compiler: i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc

BTW I could not select KDE 4.4.5 from the version list.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
