I tried looking at my inbox, and discovered that I'd lost my internet connection.  When my internet connection was restored, it was still trying to load the inbox.  I clicked on the inbox again, and it showed me what it knew from last time.  I clicked on the message I wanted to read, but it didn't appear in the preview.  I tried cancelling all the pending mail operations, and tried clicking on another message (and perhaps again on the one I originally wanted to read).  Then Kontact crashed.
