One of the nice things about kmail is that you can go straight to a composer window, bypassing the messaging list, by issuing "kmail --composer" at the command line. 

It would be extremely useful to be able to go straight to the LDAP address lookup dialog box in the same way, eg. "kaddressbook --ldap"  This command line option is not currently supported.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with KAddressBook 6.6.0
