Version: 1.2.0 (using KDE 4.3.5) OS: Linux After doing an remote image operation (EXIF rotation and / or Tags setting), Digikam crashed. When restarted, Digikam showed me that the picture was now 90% grey like if it was really writing into the picture data instead of only writing metadata. I used Digikam 0.10 for years and never had such a problem. I am now totally scared to used this 1.2 version. Reproducible: Didn't try I hope that Digikam while writing an image make a temp copy somewhere. Am i right ?

unfortunately I don't have a DigiKam + GDB version. Can you still give me the temp location ?
temp location ? Gilles Caulier
by temp location, I mean the temp folder where Digikam stores a file before doing any modification on it (rating, exif modification, ...), just to be safe in case of power failure
