kpackagekit presented some KDE4 packages to me, which can be updated. the version of the new packages is 4.4.5, which is just about to be released for Kubuntu (i assume, since not kpackagekit doesn't present to update the whole KDE4). I cannot tell anymore which packages i tried to update.
I decided to go ahead with the update and kpackagekit seems to be crashed when the transaction is finished.
