Description m.wege 2010-06-29 08:34:08 UTC
Application: okular (0.10.80)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.90 (KDE 4.4.90 (KDE 4.5 RC1))
Qt Version: 4.7.0
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-23-generic-pae i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed: I opened a file directly from within okular, which had been opened before (when it was still the Beta version, now I am running RC1). What may be special about this file is that it does not have a pdf ending.

-- Backtrace:
Application: Okular (okular), signal: Segmentation fault

Is it possible that the last time you read the document it had more pages than it has now? e.g. it is a latex generated document and now has less pages than before?
Comment 2 m.wege 2010-06-29 21:23:06 UTC
No, it is exactly the same document. I do not know about latex, but it says that it was generated by oracle publisher. What is interesting that when I choose to restart ocular, that it does not crash when I open the file in the same way. When I restart ocular and try to open it in the same way it crashes again.
Comment 3 Albert Astals Cid 2010-06-29 22:23:02 UTC
Also, could you please run okular using valgrind with your document?

valgrind okular /path/to/my/document

and attach the log?

I do not know what file it was and since it is long time ago, I suggest closing this.
