Description Dj YB 2010-06-27 22:29:59 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

a search folder would be like the kmail searches, that update in real time.
the search folder is a query for files\folders.
after a search instead of saving the result you would save the search.
thanks.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
results saved as static html.

Expected Results:
dynamic results that would look like a folder.

OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.33.5-124.fc13.i686.PAE
Compiler: gcc

Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719

Agreed, this would be nice. You can kind of approximate a limited version of this with tags, if the set of files you care about is small.

Actually, this feature already exists! I didn't know about it because it's not very discoverable (that's tracked with https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=269332). But basically you run a search, then right-click in any part of the background and choose "Add to Places."
