screenshot showing icons from theme and these icons together

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

The OK and Cancel buttons on this window don't use the icons from my theme.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
To get to the window:
1) Click the cashew
2) Desktop Activity Settings
3) Mouse Actions tab
4) Click the little settings button to the right of the Right Button action

Also worth mentioning is the fact that the Configure Contextual Menu Plugin shows up on all desktops, while the window behind it (Desktop Settings - Plasma Workspace) does not.

o.0

I'm using a QDialogButtonBox... I'm not sure why/how that would fail to respect the theme...

How about the window showing up on all desktops? Does that happen to you?

Update: if I select the Switch Window action, and then hit the settings button, I get the same problem: wrong icons, and a window on all desktops.

Cannot reproduce on KDE 4.6. Would you like to confirm it has been fixed? Thanks.

I'm not quite ready to go to 4.6 yet, but I'll keep this bug on my radar.

Finally upgraded to kde 4.6.2, and I'm sorry to say that this bug is still present :\

I will investigate further in the near future.

Finally got a chance to look into this!

It's a bug in certain widget styles only. In fact, only the Oxygen style is correct. All the others that I tried (CDE, Cleanlooks, MS Windows 9x, Motif, Phase, Plastique) exhibit this bug.

This was tested on my Gentoo machine running KDE 4.6.3 and verified on a Kubuntu machine running KDE 4.6.2.

This still happens in KDE 4.7.4 on Fedora 16. As mentioned in #6, this only happens when using a widget theme other than Oxygen.

Edited summary for clarity.

Hello!

This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5.

Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting

If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging

Thanks for your understanding!

Nate Graham
