Description Martin L ü c h e m 2010-06-25 08:46:38 UTC
Version: 4.4.3
OS: Linux

Out of Kontact / KMail I entered a complete task. When trying to save the item Akonadi crashed - or was it kalender itself? How shall I know? Akonadi crashes more often than any other application in KDE, I no longer count this and even do not react when this happens!!!

(Now while writing the bug report even konqueror crashed! No fun working with KDE - really annoying!!! How the hell does konqueror and akonadi interact?

Sorry but I am really disappointed about what happens around here. KDE applications currently are more instable than version 1.x!)

Martin

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-5-amd64
Compiler: cc
Comment 1 Martin L ü c h e m 2010-06-25 08:47:45 UTC
I forgot to mention: the task I entered is gone as well, at least I cannot find it.

every time I enter a task or date, Akonadi will crash. In case of entering a date at least the date will stay live.
Comment 4 Sergio Martins 2010-06-26 19:30:38 UTC
Korganizer isn't very stable with akonadi in 4.4, please use the local file resource instead.

We are very close to releasing the new version of korganizer that supports akonadi natively and should be stable.
