Description Ludwig Reiter 2010-06-24 15:14:47 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

small usability problem, Version: e5.20100618.1140682-kk3.1140736

A user is entering text into his PC and presses return, in this moment the reminder is opened and is at once closed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an event with alarm in a few minutes.
2. Wait for the reminder.
3. Press "Return"

Actual Results:
The reminder closes.

Expected Results:
The reminder should not close.

I agree, the dismiss buttons of the reminder popup shouldn't be preselected. IMHO it would be more wise to preselect the "later" button (if one must be preselected) so the worst thing that can happen is that you get the reminder 5 minutes later when you accidentally hit enter at the wrong moment.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korgac (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
