Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.4.4) OS: Linux I received an e-mail with attachments with one file name being displayed wrong. Here's the header: --Boundary_(ID_sBBcl864JkX6q3m5c5Ow1g) Content-type: application/vnd.ms-excel; name*0*=ISO-8859-1''%55%72%6E%65%6E%70%6C%E4%6E%65%5F%31%38%2E%30%36%2E%78; name*1*=%6C%73 Content-transfer-encoding: base64 Content-disposition: inline; filename*0*=ISO-8859-1''%55%72%6E%65%6E%70%6C%E4%6E%65%5F%31%38%2E%30%36; filename*1*=%2E%78%6C%73 The actual file name is Urnenpläne_18.06.xls but KMail only displays %6C%73. Reproducible: Always
Just as a side note, this is correctly decoded in trunk / kmail2.
Should I mark it as fixed or is there any realistic chance for a last-minute fix for KDE PIM 4.4?
Same here with KDE_4.5.6/Kmail_1.13.6 --------------040107010803080402020101 Content-Type: application/pdf; name="=?ISO-8859-2?Q?Db=E9rWin_-_nyomtat=E1si_eredm=E9ny2=2Epdf?=" Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 Content-Disposition: attachment; filename*0*=ISO-8859-2''%44%62%E9%72%57%69%6E%20%2D%20%6E%79%6F%6D%74%61; filename*1*=%74%E1%73%69%20%65%72%65%64%6D%E9%6E%79%32%2E%70%64%66 Actual name of the attachment: 'DbérWin - nyomtatási eredmény2.pdf' Clicking on the message in the KMails message window the actual name of the attachment appears for a moment, but after it only 'ISO-8859-2" is shown as attachment name.
