Description John Bray 2010-06-23 12:18:25 UTC
Version: 1.2.0
OS: Linux

When I try to change image captions or GPS location for multiple images selected with shift or control, the change only occurs on the first image in the set. I'm sure it used to work on them all before I upgraded from Ubuntu Karmic to Lucid.

I'm running digikam from gnome, not KDE

Reproducible: Always

try 1.3.0 release

I tried to install the .deb file from
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/maverick/i386/kipi-plugins/1.3.0-0ubuntu1, but
got lots of dependancy errors, presumably because its aimed at Meerkat. Do
you know if the Ubuntu team plan to provide the fix through the standard
update mechanism soon, as I'm reluctant to break things.

If there is a way of using kipi-plugins locally I could try that.

No ideas about Debian packaging. Ask to Debian team...

I think I'll wait until Ubuntu sort it out. Thanks for responding so quickly.

John,

This file still valid using kipi-plugins 2.4 ?

Comment 8 John Bray 2011-12-21 17:01:09 UTC
My kipi-plugins (from Ubuntu 11.4) is 1.9, and multi-select is working for
digikam again

Thanks for keeping this issue alive, I'm happy for it to be closed now.
