Evolution toolbar screenshot using KDE

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux

The toolbar icons for marking an email message as Junk or for Deletion are visually very similar. This causes cognitive difficulties in use (I have to pause and think about it every time I use either of them), or wait for a tooltip to remind me. This is very irritating.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Run (for example) Evolution under KDE.

Actual Results:
Poor visual discrimination between icons with different functions.

Also reported against systemsettings because the theme cannot be changed. See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=242536

can you please verify if this is still a valid bug? i remade many of the icons for mail including the flag ones...

The current icons (Evolution 3.2.2 on Fedora 16) correct the problem. I don't much like the icons for Junk/non-Junk (I still find myself pausing to think what they mean), but they are clearly distinguishable from the one for Trash, which is what I complained about.

you are aware that Evolution is not a kde app right? not totally sure how evolution is choosing its icons...and, if oxygen as them all..

Of course, but I use Evo under KDE, which apparently caused the problem
originally (because of the Oxygen theme). I'm entirely sure why, but it's
working now.

think because of the fredesktop naming speck that oxygen tries to cumply with, but somtimes apps have non standard actiaon not present on teh speck and things become messy, I think :)
any way seeams its working now
thanks for the report.
