Version: 2.3.0 OS: Linux Hi, my great wish is the support of Amarok for Audilbe fileformat (aa & aax) on Apple devices (I-Pod or I-Phone). Thx Reproducible: Didn't try
This depends on taglib and the phonon backend in use AFAICT.
Audible seem to be very proprietary format usually equipped with DRM protection, whose playback seems not to be supported under Linux. Putting these to iPods may be one of a few methods to actually play them, that's why I'm willing to implement their transfer to iPods. Reporter, please describe what happens if you actually try to transfer such file from for example Amarok File Browser to an iPod.
Audible is only a format used for Audio Books by Amazon on the Kindle.
(In reply to comment #3) > Audible is only a format used for Audio Books by Amazon on the Kindle. This should read: *is also a format*

This version is not maintained anymore. Also we can not support proprietary formats that lack the necessary free information for us to read them.
