OK, I have found a pattern now. It always happens when I am deleting the same portion of text and repeatedly hitting the backspace key.

This one is for KatePart. But if I'm not mistaken, it has been fixed already.

The bug with bracktrace in comment #1 and comment #2 is fixed.
However, the initial backtrace is different (here the pointer is not 0x0).
