Description Martin L ü c h e m 2010-06-15 19:30:22 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

When exporting an address book at the end of the field "Family Name" an "\n" will be added. There is no way to edit this within KAddressbook. The effect is, that e.g. serial letters in Open Office will not work (via OO database)

Reproducible: Didn't try

OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-5-amd64
Compiler: cc

The wrong character will only be shown when exporting to csv

Hej,

I can't reproduce the described behaviour, neither with the version from 4.4 branch
nor with current version from SVN trunk.
The CSV export code has no statement to add an additional '\n' to a field, so I guess
your family name contains the '\n' already and it is just correctly exported.
Btw, does it really contain a literal '\n' or a byte with character code 10?

Ciao,
Tobias
