Description james tappin 2010-06-15 18:27:56 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.2)
OS: Linux

On trying to insert video to kpresenter (version 2.2.0 -- not listed in the menu), the program segfaults as soon as I click on the presentation to define the location.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open a new blank presentation.
2) Select "video" from the shapes menu.
3) Click on the presentation page

Actual Results:
As soon as I click on the presentation page (step 3 above), kpresenter segfaults.

Expected Results:
One of:
Allowed me to define a rectangle in which to place the video.
Or produced a menu to select the video clip.

Even though I have the koffice-dbg package installed, the bug wizard claims the traceback is not useful.

Comment 2 T Zachmann 2010-06-16 06:15:13 UTC
The bug is already fixed. unfortunately it did not make it into koffice 2.2 but it will be in koffice 2.2.1.

I'm not 100% sure but you might be able to create the video shape by just clicking at a point and resize it later.
