Did you try with other remote protocols like fish or ftp?
I try with fish, fish work. I transfer by fish 2448719872 bytes
Is this still an issue with more recent versions of samba? Older version of samba used to have problems with copying rather large files. For example, see https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6649. Anyhow, I am unable to reproduce.
Hi, I've just tried to copy a large file (~3.5Gb) from and to a remote samba server (3.6.6) using dolphin on KDE 4.11.0 and the smb KIO protocol. The file has been correctly copied in both directions. We should consider this bug fixed ok?
