Version: 0.10.2 (using KDE 4.4.2) OS: Linux When .dvi and .eps files are located in path with international characters in it, I don't see any graphics in my document and get these messages in console output: okular(4964)/okular (DVI): ghostview could not be started okular(4964)/okular (DVI): GS did not produce output. So graphic is displayed only if I change folder name to one having English-only characters. If I open .eps file directly in Okular, it is displayed correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make folder with international characters in name somewhere on your disk 2. Make simple TeX document with \includegraphics command to include some .eps file 3. Produce .dvi file 4. Try to open it with Okular Actual Results: No graphics :( Expected Results: Graphics :) pdfTeX, Version 3.1415926-1.40.10 (TeX Live 2009/Debian)
Can you please attach a tarball with such a setup so we can test it?
What should I include in this tarball?
Created attachment 48005 [details] Folder with .dvi and .eps graphics This tarball contains: 1. head.tex - this file I used to produce .dvi output 2. head.dvi - problem .dvi file 3. pict/1218m57.eps - picture, that should be displayed in .dvi file
Created attachment 48006 [details] Another folder with .dvi and .eps graphics If you having problems with opening previous file due to uninstalled cyrillic fonts, you may try this. Folder in tarball have cyrillic characters in it's name. When I exclude them, eps graphics displays correctly.
That helps thanks, will try to get a fix but can not promise anything
It turns out we already have a fix for this, it will be available in KDE Software Compillation 4.5 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 228551 ***
Oh, thank you very much for your attention! Seems I didn't search information for this bug here on bugtracker carefully enough.
