OS: Linux

The FolderTreeView subclasses Akonadi::EntityTreeViewm, and as such is a multi-column view. However, the multiple column display does not fit correctly in the small folderview frame.

All the columns aside from the first aren't necessary.

Reproducible: Always

We disabled all other columns by default because of that, except the total column. For me, that column fits.

Anyway, resizing columns in Qt is always a nightmare to get right.

“All the columns aside from the first aren't necessary.”

That is just an opinion. But since what you think is right is possible (you can disable any other column), I do not see the “bug” here. It is about choice.

I personally like to have the Total column, and I do not see the fact that I can have it as a bug. And I would understand someone wanting to have all the columns, and in large screens I do not see anything preventing someone from having them, since the column and frame width is not hardcoded.

So, can this “bug” be closed?

Closing, as this is actually configurable by the user.
