Description Peter Grasch 2010-06-12 10:43:21 UTC
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3)
OS: MS Windows

The Attica KCM doesn't list opendesktop.org as collaboration service provider as it does on Linux. Instead, the combobox is empty.

Uploading through KNS, of course, doesn't work.

[2488] Debug:Pfade: ("c", "\dokumente und einstellungen\simon\anwendungsdaten\.kde\lib\;c", "\programme\kde\lib\")
[2488] Debug:Trying to load "c/attica_kde.so"
[2488] Debug:Trying to load "\dokumente und einstellungen\simon\anwendungsdaten\.kde\lib\;c/attica_kde.so"
[2488] Debug:Trying to load "\programme\kde\lib\/attica_kde.so"
[2488] Debug:Using Attica without KDE support

I copied the attica_kde.dll to C:\ and tried to rename it to attica_kde.so and attica_kde.so.dll but the error stays the same.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Open the attica KCM.

Actual Results:
See opendesktop.org provider listed.

Expected Results:
No listed provider.

This is actually KDE 4.4.4.

This has been fixed by the maintainer after I talked to him on irc...

Hi Peter,
so it works now? Awesome :)
Comment 3 Peter Grasch 2010-09-06 08:52:57 UTC
Hi Frederik!

Yes everything runs perfectly now. I had a bit of a set back when the binary package didn't contain kde4-config (which would produce the same behaviour as reported in this bug) but once I looked in the code and included it everything works perfectly.

Up- and download works on windows now. I had to hack something on the download part tough, I'll comment on that bug...

Thanks again!

Regards,
Peter
