Version: 1.13.3 (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux - setup kmail not to sent messages immediately but keep them in outbox - create several messages to be sent - go to outbox where you should see your message waiting to be sent - press the send button to sent outbox messages each time a message is sent the preview pane will show the next message to be sent, this is OK but when the last message ha been sent and the outbox is empty the preview pane still show the last message sent. Expected : preview pane cleared after last message is sent. The same problem occurs if you take any folder view with one unread message in it, set the View selector to "Show unread", select the message (it shows in the preview) and then mark it as read (it disappears from the list but not from the preview).
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
