Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux Using Konversation 1.2.3, sometimes systray icon disappears while Konversation is running. The reason I think it's more likely to be a tray applet bug than a Konversation bug is because the new tray API is architected in a way that the tray applet has most of the power about how and when the icon is displayed. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: Install Konversation and configure it to use the system tray. Use Konversation 1.2.3 regularly in KDE 4.4.3. See that systray icon sometimes disappear without apparent reason, but Konversation is in fact still running. Actual Results: Konversation systray icon sometimes disappears. Expected Results: Konversation systray icon should always be displayed in systray if Konversation is configured to use systray.
uhm, doesn't seem to be reproducible in trunk, does somebody else got it?
works here as well; perhaps the reporter has it on "hidden" or some such and it only pops up when there is a notification, giving the impression of it hiding/showing. in any case, unless there is a way to reproduce, there isn't much that can be done with this, particularly as it works very reliably here (i used konvi, and it's sitting in my systray :)
I don't know how to reproduce it, waiting some time for if it happens again, and if I can't reproduce it in KDE 4.4.4 and Konversation 1.3, i will close the bug.
Closing for lack of feedback.
