Description anton 2010-06-06 12:00:05 UTC
Version: unspecified (using Devel)
OS: Linux

I use rdesktop over vpn connection. If vpn connection was terminated/reestablished, rdp session is shown as static image and I have to press disconnect and then select terminated connection from bookmark list (good for me that I have it saved in bookmarks).

It would be better, if krdc could show the dialog with message that connection was lost and a button suggesting to reconnect to current session, or even better - it could try to reconnect to same session automatically.

Reproducible: Didn't try

I tried an old notebook hooked up to my T.V. with kfrb as a movie player / plasma information centre and set up krdc on a Netbook as a remote control of sorts. The problem I had was being able to close the netbook for sleep and open it again to control the T.V. at random times. The thing that annoyed was that KRDC isn't able to reconnect using Network Manager automatically when the connection came back up.

An option for automatic reconnection once NM is reporting a connection, to the last open servers would be ideal.
