Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.3) OS: Linux KDE4 has more image viewers, but none of them are simple like Kuickshow: none only have the image and nothing else in the window (not even menus or a toolbar,) and none show an image in a file manager program's (dolphin, etc.) own window. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Upgrade to KDE4 Actual Results: No simple image viewer exists. Expected Results: A simple image viewer should exist instead of all those extra ones.
I am using Slackware packages; I forgot to mention that.
Kuickshow is still available. It's part of extragears/graphics and was ported to KDE4. Please, consider trying it. Thanks =)
There are also other image viewers on kde-apps.org or qt-apps.org, please see http://kde-apps.org/index.php?xcontentmode=222 and http://qt-apps.org/index.php?xcontentmode=4222
I know it is still available, but not in kde-base or as a package, and I have had trouble making it a package, so I would have to install it without it being listed in my system....
There not being a package is a problem of your distribution.
