Description pierantonio 2010-06-04 16:38:45 UTC
Application: knotify4 (4.0)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.2 (KDE 4.4.2)
Qt Version: 4.6.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.32-22-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
I've installed phonon and Gstreamer, then after changing the backend application (gstreamer in place of xine) the system crashes. I'm not able to configure kmix, i could hear the sound when kde start and when I test the sound system, but i can see only one channel (IEC958) when I select "HDA ATI HDMI" as main sound device....

The crash can be reproduced every time.

 -- Backtrace:
Application: KNotify (knotify4), signal: Aborted

Did you try starting a sound stream? The backtrace indicates that, so which application did you try to run with?
